An exhibition exploring the artistic practice of Joshua Yeldham through film, painting, photography and sculpture, revealing his creative inspiration and spiritual journey into the Australian landscape.

This exhibition is part of the 2014 Manly Arts Festival. The launch includes a performance by Bobby Singh on sitar and Vinod Prassana on bansuri flute.

Journal Talk
Sunday 21 September, 2 pm - 4pm
To coincide with the exhibition, the artist will launch Joshua Yeldham: Surrender, a journal-style book of his creative journey. As part of the event, Mike Van Loon and Emma Bathgate-Petersen perform a contemporary dance duet, Together.

Artist in Conversation
Sunday 19 October, 2pm - 3pm
Join Joshua Yeldham in conversation with curator Katherine Roberts to discuss the exhibition and key ideas that have informed his art practice over the past decade.

Kids' Art Adventures School Holiday Creative Workshops
Tuesday 23 & Wednesday 24 September, 10am - 12noon
Led by artist Joshua Yeldham, children will be shown through his survey exhibition then create a unique owl sculpture using found materials, paint and collage. A special visitor from Feature Creatures will also be part of the morning!

Cost: $30, materials and refreshments included. Bring a small tray, box or lid to carry your owl home. Ages 5 - 12 years. Parents are encouraged to be part of the session. 20pp max each session. Bookings essential: 9976 1421

Artists Creative Workshop
Mondays 20 & 27 October, 10am - 12noon
Artists are invited to engage with Joshua Yeldham in a two-part experience starting at Manly Art Gallery & Museum. Artists will be set a project to be shared an discussed at the second session at Eramboo Artist Environment. This professional development workshop aims to extend and challenge art practice and harness natural creativity.
