For the past 5 weeks, the Police Point Artist in Residence Program has hosted Robyn Sweaney as she explores a new body of work. The residency is in the historic Gatekeeper’s Cottage (c.1888) at Police Point Shire Park, on the edge of the Point Nepean National Park in Victoria located in the traditional lands of the Boon Wurrung Balug.

With its outstanding coastal scenery and panoramic views of Bass Strait, the Park has a rich indigenous history and played an important role in shaping the early settlement, quarantine, and defense of Victoria. The Police Point Artist in Residence Program is coordinated by the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Arts & Culture team.

Robyn Sweaney will be exhibiting with Tweed Regional Gallery in May. More here.
