In nature, particles mimic and repeat, amass and decay; continuing in a constant cycle. This constancy, this seemingly infinite patterning in the natural world is both comforting and disturbing. Comforting, because the threat of ‘the end’ is countered by its cyclical, self-preserving qualities, but disturbing, because the ecological world still appears to be at risk.
