Nicola Moss announced as a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize

Paddington Art Prize

Nicola Moss has been selected as finalist in the Paddington Art Prize for her work Cockatoo grounds - Parkland.

During a residency at Georges River Sydney, I explored the canopy cover of the Local Government area. Trees flowed through the landscape of open parks, rehabilitated ecologies and headlands with river views. The cooling canopy shade offset warmer than average temperatures, creating vital spaces for leisure and pleasure. These greenspaces provided me with a sense of well-being both physical and mental.Nicola Moss, Artist Statement
