Naomi Hobson's 'Adolescent Wonderland' showing in London

Horniman Museum & Gardens

Following its national tour of Australia, Naomi Hobson's highly acclaimed and multiple award winning photography series 'Adolescent Wonderland' makes its international debut in London at the Horniman Museum.

'Adolescent Wonderland' celebrates the love, joy and abundance of First Nations youth living in Coen, Queensland. Hobson's lively portraits depict the spirit and individuality of her subjects detailing the importance of protecting their history and culture.

Capturing the young people in my home community is so important because it has enabled them to represent themselves how they want to be represented; in full colour, living life and showing people what it really looks like without inhibition - Naomi Hobson, 2024

This marks Hobson's first international exhibition and is on display until 28 November 2024 in the Balcony Gallery - above the World Gallery, Horniman Museum. For art lovers in London, this is a must see!
