Artist to Watch: Leah Fraser

With a mentor like double Archibald Prize winner Del Kathryn Barton, it's no surprise that Leah Fraser's artworks (which feature in Vogue Living March/April 2014) have made an impression on Sydney's art community. Having assisted Barton before establishing her own practice, Fraser made her Arthouse Gallery debut during Art Month Sydney 2013, and has almost sold out her follow-up show with the gallery, Odyssey and Oracle, which closes on Saturday 22 March.

“This collection of work is based on stories of diverse cultures worldwide, tied together by the thread of the ocean, guided by the stars, emerging from the pool that is history and magic and the unknown, the waters of life, the rivers used for second sight,” says Fraser.
