Hunter Amos
Byron Bay based artist Hunter Amos’ fluid lines and sculptural application of paint evoke a sense of identity in atypical portraiture. His paintings are psychological observations of the human subject in palettes inspired by the richness of terracotta, the sheen of stone, and the warmth of carved wood.
Multifaceted and multidimensional his paintings fuse the complexities of futurism with an appreciation for form. There is a maturity in the work well beyond his years and a talent for painting that is undeniable.
Amos is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with Parsons School of Design in New York and continues to develop as an artist following the incredible success of his sell-out debut exhibition in 2019.
